I didn't always work with wood - it only opened up to me when I was about thirty. Until recently, I was working in an office, and so I decided to change everything. As a result, I went on a journey that, as I wanted, changed everything in my life. I broke away from my usual life, work schedule, everyday affairs.
My life began to surprise me every day, and I learned to be surprised and not get tired of it. Then, when I was not attached to anything and open to everything, a tree came to me.
I remember that twig that I picked up surrounded by snowy mountain peaks and sat down to cut it with a penknife. It all started with him. But I didn't stop at one thing. I picked up twigs and branches one by one and studied them. At first it is difficult and slow, then faster and more confident. Every day was a new discovery.
A little more than 10 years have passed, and everything continues like this: every day I see a tree, touch it, study it, literally breathe it. The tree is my life. I thank him and worship him! And it answers me: it surrounds me, feeds me, gives me warmth in the house. And it gives me incredible images, some of which I manage to capture.
