TORN SAILS
The sculpture "Torn Sails" is a work of a new level of complexity compared to my previous works: large size, complex shapes, through-carving.
I made this sculpture from the same larch tree from which I had previously made the "Seed". This time, three products came out of one log at once. "Torn sails" turned out from the central part. In the central part of the log, as it known, there is a core. And where there is a core, the crack will definitely appear. Therefore, I removed the center as much as I can and the main motive is get done as a sculpture.
