"Upflow" is a massive high sculpture. After the “Seed" was planted, I received the following order. The plan was to make a sculpture for the last flight of stairs. This time the material was provided by the customer - it was a larch floor beam, dismantled during restoration work in the same building.
I spent the whole month cutting this sculpture in the same place where the beam was dismantled. I walked around in looking for future twists and turns. At that time I got a very interesting experience of carving a sculpture which are more larger than me. It took 6 people to move the finished work into the building and install it in place. This work could be seen by any visitor of the "Yasnaya Polyana" co-working, as the sculpture was installed in the central staircase, which are open to all visitors of the co-working.
